Description

Contemporary hand crafted console table with sculptural steel base and oiled hard wood top. The wood is iroko probably and the steel base has been properly finished in a pale blue powder coat (tough paint used in industrial applications). The base has a network of angled rods branching across the inside space of the frame; all the joints are welded. This piece is basically ex-display: a sample for bespoke pieces to be based on. Condition is pretty good: structurally it's really solid and quite heavy; cosmetically there's the odd chip or scuff to the paintwork where it's been hanging out in a metal working shop; not much though (see pics). A unique and rather fabulous piece. Dimensions: 125cm x 30cm x 73cm high
